Things are really busy at work. I am just clipping along trying to stay focused at the task at hand: MY HEALTH. HA! A task indeed. Ya know I just try to get the frame of mind that this is just a phase in my life to correct my WOE (way of eating) in the sense of volume. Although I know we can eat anything we want, protein works best for me as far as fullness is concerned. The meat and fat fill me up more. When I eat just carbs, or mostly carbs I want to eat more even if I am not hungry. I am speaking for myself, but that is just the way it is for me.
Maintenance will be a challenge that I am anticipating. I want to make this work for life and not YOYO. That is a concern. I am hoping that the sense or not wanting more that I need will kick in. I am sure it will. I just hate it when I get too far ahead of myself. Today is what I need to look at with all my attention. Tomorrow will come soon enough.
This morning was a little tough. Why you may ask. Thanks for asking. HA! It was hard because once a month we have Employee Appreciation day where the supervisors get to gather and prepare a meal for the employees. So I made breakfast tacos (eggs and potatoes), pigs in a blanket, apple cinnamon, walnut, white chocolate muffins and a variety of juices. So I was making this food last night and this morning. Jeez that was hard. I just wanted a taste. Just a little taste
. Will someone just please give me just a tiny, little, bitty taste? HA!!! OK enough with the drama. So what did I do?
I stood strong and said Hell to the double NO! I sure did and I am proud of myself. I did not cave like Monday nights meeting. I held my ground and just said NO! Hey I cant put my life on hold and I have to deal with real life situations. So I will do what it takes to get the job done. That easy, that simple, you will see.
Results thus far:

Day 2 = (2.0) = 02.0 lbs loss current weight: 188.0 lbs (nice)
Day 3 = (1.6) = 03.6 lbs loss current weight: 186.4 lbs (this is how we do it)
Day 4 = (1.8) = 05.4 lbs loss current weight: 184.6 lbs (lovely)
Day 5 = (1.2) = 06.6 lbs loss current weight: 183.4 lbs (interesting)
Day 6 = (1.8) = 08.4 lbs loss current weight: 181.6 lbs (oh, yeah)
Day 7 = (1.2) = 09.6 lbs loss current weight: 180.4 lbs (keep it coming)
Day 8 = (0.4) = 10.0 lbs loss current weight: 180.0 lbs (Battle On!!!)
